Description

The Transport Officer provides safe, professional, courteous transportation and medical courier services for TAIHS clients as required.  This position is also responsible for working in collaboration with the Facilities Manager in regard to the general and mechanical maintenance of company vehicles.

Required 

• Demonstrated understanding of the health & safety risks & requirements associated with this position
• Ability to read and follow maps/ GPs
• Experience in transportation of children or community groups (desirable)
• Experience using handheld 2-way communication whilst maintaining patient confidentiality.

Required Licenses and Checks

• Ability to pass a National Police Check – no Serious/Criminal/Court Records 
• Current Blue Card (Queensland's Working with Children Check)
• Current C Class Drivers Licence (Qld) 
• Minimum MR Licence (Qld)
• Valid and current Queensland Driver Authority, or ability to attain
• Safe driving record
• COVID-19 Vaccination: It is a condition of employment for this position to be, and remain, vaccinated against COVID-19
• First Aid Certificate.

Proof of qualifications, licenses and certifications are to be provided prior to commencement of employment
