TAIHS Youth Support Services

Supports young people who are between 8-21 years old and are experiencing any of the below:

  • Homeless or at risk of homelessness
  • Wanting help for drugs, alcohol or other substances (eg. sniffing)
  • Having problems with family at home
  • Not in school, training or employment
  • Harming themselves

We Assist – you to achieve your goals

We Connect – you with family and community supports

We Engage - you in education, training, programs, with family and in employment

We Promote – healthy lifestyles and assist young people to live, safe, stable lives.

We do one-on-one support with 24/7 on call support to give advocacy for you, information and advice and transport to and from appointments.

We accept referrals from schools, NGOs, police, family members and yourself.

The program is funded by the Queensland Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services
